After Passages Malibu CEO Pax Prentiss overcame his dependence on alcohol, cocaine, and heroin, he went on to found Passages along with his father, Chris Prentiss. Before Passages’ founding, Chris authored numerous books on topics like love, self-empowerment, and wisdom.

While Pax runs the day-to-day operations at Passages Malibu and Passages Ventura, Chris often drops by to share some of the collected wisdom from his many books, for the benefit of current clients.
Earlier in May, the Malibu Times reported on Chris’ public appearance at Banks of Books in Malibu for California Bookstore Day. The Times’ mentioned that Chris this was Chris’ first public book signing in 10 years.
While the books that Chris wrote have been published in 25 different countries around the world, at Passages, he is also well known for his motivational metaphysics talks.
